What is Assist Travel and Transport?
The Assist Travel and Transport program is designed to support individuals with
disabilities in accessing their community and traveling safely. At Open Path Care,
we provide tailored assistance to help participants travel independently, whether
it’s for work, appointments, education, or social activities. Our focus is on
empowering individuals to overcome mobility barriers and navigate their world
with freedom and confidence.
What We Offer

Who Can Access This Service?
You may be eligible for Assist Travel and Transport if
- You have a disability that limits your ability to travel independently.
- You are under 65 years of age when applying.
- You are an Australian resident with citizenship, permanent residency, or a Protected Special Category Visa.
- You require assistance with transportation to access community, work, or educational opportunities.
If you meet these criteria, we’re here to help you travel with greater ease and independence.
